The Jazz Band is an ensemble that focuses on jazz rhythms, improv skills and learning basic jazz-related pieces and styles including blues, big-band, Latin jazz, and reggae. The principal ensemble of the MHCB, always improving musical skills while performing high-quality music under professional musician and conductor Andy Michaud. The group plays symphonic music, marches, show tunes, pop tunes and jazz pieces. Join any time, but best well before a concert.
