President: David Cooke Discussed possible charity event in Boulder. Contact made to Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival and Edgewater Parks and Recreation. Discussed recruiting new members. Discussion of amplifier problems with keyboards. Vice-President: Paul Peronard: no report Secretary: Open Treasurer: Vern Vail budget impact of contract labor including “ringers” for concerts. Consensus that this is a matter for concern but that hiring “ringers” for upcoming concert is a good move. Operations Manager. Bruce Thron-Weber . Student rate for dues should apply to graduate students as well. Consensus by Board. SCFD: report on feedback. Will need assistance on next application, looking at other Tier III organizations for perspective. Purchase of new charts and storage requirements. Discussed need for “ringers” for concerts. Cooper Watts - Scholarship applications presented for consideration: Mikey Honiotes – Approved by motion, unanimous. Christina Baker - Approved by motion, unanimous. Seth Wilson - Approved by motion, unanimous. Will Roland - Approved by motion, unanimous. Mike Lucas: Talked with Hill Baker at Red Rocks Community College. Hill has not done any follow-up publicity yet. Discussed preserving original scores and the need to migrate toward electronic storage of music scores.
